Myiek (Mergui Archipelago)

Mergui Archipelago, located in Southern part of Myanmar (Burma), comprises over 800 beautiful islands. It opened for tourism in 1997, most of the area remains unexplored.The island and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of flora & fauna and very beautiful underwater scences and marine life.Among those islands are arious mangroves, wild life, caves, lagoons fresh water falls and rivers in the forest. Dense bush and rainforest cover most areas above the high-tide line and a few freshwater rivers and Don waterfalls.

Kaw Thaung (Victorial Point)

Kawthaung (known in colonial times as Victoria Point), is Myanmar’s southern town. An important trading point, many people make the 20-minutes trip across the water from the Thai border town of Ranong for and a lot of sightseeing and shopping.

Despite its waterside, Kawthaung itself is a particularly beautiful town and also it is an interesting and culturally varied place to wander around. As is customary for Myanmar towns of this size, Kawthaung is home to hilltop pagodas offering good views of the sea and surrounding area. Nyaung Oo Phee Island is the one of the famous and well-known and both Myanmar and Thailand will come to relax at there. Nyaung Oo Phee Hotel and Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resorts are on the Island with great services and fresh foods.

What can we do?

Myanmar in general is a great location for snorkelling but to date remains largely undiscovered. Warm, clear water are teeming with exotic topical fish. There are colourful corals and giant seafans forming wonderfull scenery underwater. To snorkel Myanmar's reefs is like being in another lost world.

Large Lobsters and Seafoods are cheap to enjoy. White sand beaches and sand like a powder with ease & soft. Smart island is popular and there is a waterfall which falls freshwater. There is a Salon island which Salon nation lives, they didn't wear any clothes long ago. You can take a photo and can donate foods. Largest Buddha image in the myiek is popular. Tents are available in Islands and Bonfire will be there.
